My great grandfather knew very well that evil come from Satan, and from God always come good, (Holy Bible the Book of Job) this is why he did not blame God in the burden of his cross, instead he pray to God for help and thanks to God, my grandfather was born and turned to be the joy among the tragedy.

Thanks to God, the little baby Antonio Folch y Folch was recuperated perfectly after the prayers from all the family members, especially from his Dad and his little sisters Raimunda and Mercedes.

After these graces received from God, a great devotion was infuse in the entire family to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, to the Blessed Miraculous Virgin Mary, and to the Infant Child Jesus of Prague.

The spiritual ruts are robust in the members of the family, thanks to the formation received from the school for orphan’s children were the little girls and little Antonio were living, which was founded and maintained by the Daughters of Charity from Saint Vincent of Paul.

In 1904, when she was 19 years old, Mercedes Folch y Folch (daughter of my great-grandfather) received from the Bishop of Barcelona this certification with the mission to promote our Catholic faith, which she did with great love and zeal to our Lord.

Being Mercedes very young is missionary, promoting in the Philippines the devotion to the Infant Child Jesus of Prague and exalting our Catholic Faith.

The day 21st of April, 1912 Antonio (my grandfather) celebrated the Sacrament of Wedding with Philomena,(my grandmother) in the House of God and before the presence of God, both were bond with mutual fidelity and to receive from God all children that God wish to grant them. They were blessed by God with eleven precious gifts, five of them males, and the other six gifts females (among them my maternal mother).

The 15th of August, 1916 Festivity of the Assumption of Our Lady to heaven, (dogma of faith divine elevated by the Most Pontiff Pius XII the 1st day of November of 1950) Mercedes Folch y Folch, by then a grown woman, young, legal age, with very hard experiences about life, decided to embrace and to consummate the mayor sacrifice of love that any human being could give, which is, to give your own life, denying yourself, for the service to all the dear ones of God, especially the most in need, the orphans and the poor. Mercedes, decide to be religious of the Order of the Daughters of Charity of Saint Vincent of Paul, and was accepted by the Order as Sor Mercedes Folch y Folch, after she embrace the vows of Obedience, Poverty and Chastity.

Thirty nine years later my mom was born. Of the eleven gifts that God grant to Antonio and Philomena, my mother was one of them and thanks to this, my possibility to be born was getting near, all this because of the graces from God to our ancestors.

My grandfather was dying during world War II in Manila, his last command to the family was: " whatever happen, take always the Sacred Heart of Jesus picture with you, do not worry about material things, money, furniture, cloth; these are not important, Only the Sacred Heart of Jesus! He will be your refuge". And my family just did that, this picture of the Sacred Heart of Jesus was with the entire family members along the war to where ever they went.

The 21st day of June 1944 my parents (Vincent and Mary of the Angels) married in Manila, Philippines. They decide to be married in the presence of God, to confront as one being, husband and wife, the dangers and the massacre of World War II in Manila, where many executions were going on daily.

During World War II Rear Adm. Sanji Iwabuchi, (the butcher of Manila) was in the pick of his crimes killing indiscriminate entire neighbourhoods, families, men, women or children. My Parents and family, and the majority of the neighbourhood were taken by the troop of Japanese soldiers from their houses to the plaza to be executed, when they set-up two machine guns and were ready
to fire, my father, with his right hand hold my moms neck and at the same time he was whispering to her that at the first shut from the machine gun he will throw her in front of him to the ground and he will at the same time fall over her trying to save her life with his body, my uncle who was holding the picture of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, stood three steps in front of the multitude to be executed and lifting up the picture in front of the machine guns shout out laud:

Here again I was not yet born, if my parents were kill at that occasion, I will not be able to write these words for you. Can you see how much God love you?

While the Japanese soldiers were leaving, they burnt the houses of the entire neighbourhood and my parent’s family also saw how their entire house with all the possessions, was falling to the ground in fire.

Most of the families were living in commune places, seeking refuge in anywhere, in one occasion my father was washing his body and my mom was helping him pouring boiled water at his hands and arms (water that was boiled to do not be sick from the viruses of the corpuses decomposes who were in every where). In the next other room separated by a door glass were people resting, seating, and talking. My father explained to me that he felt suddenly very uneasy uncomfortable with kind of feeling for urgency, not knowing why he grab my mom by her shoulders and lifting her up, he change her position turning 180 degrees away from the door glass; when he was setting her in the floor a bomb shell fall through the roof of the room where the people were resting killing everyone, the door glass broke in thousands of little projectiles of glass shut over my parents body and neither one did suffer any scratch. My parents were very perplexes of what just took place.

The 13th day of September 1956 was fulfilling our daily prayers in Manila that our big family could return to Spain. This picture is of our big family and I am seat with my father.

Saint Therese the little flower mentioned in her biography that her love to God grew more and more when she found how God had removed little rocks from her path so she will not fall.

Can you see how many rocks God had removed so you can read these words? He loves you very much. How can anyone not really love Him by doing His commands?

In 1976 my wife and I were ready to start our own new family. Fallowing our ancestors steps, like my great grandparents, my grandparents, and our parents, we all did the same which is the tradition of our ancestors in our Catholic Church, “And the third day, there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee: and the mother of Jesus was there. And Jesus also was invited, and his disciples, to the marriage. ” Holy Bible @ St. John 2. 1 – 11

First we must invite God to our wedding, we also must invite our Blessed Mother Mary, and all the Saints too. We must be married by God, in front of God, through the Church found by God and for ever! That is exactly what we did!

Today in 2005, many of the new generation to see if they match or to find out if they are meant to each other, they just live together to tryout first, without being married by the Church. How wrong they are! By doing this, you can not be bless by God because you are doing what is contrary to what God have command us to do:
